Being an Example

You know, it's hard to be an example in a place a lot of people say bad words, do bad stuff, and don't go to your church, or your with people you think you just can't get along with!

I try to set a good example, but sometimes it takes a lot of effort.  You may find out that, that person is the nicest person you ever met!

I just made a new friend.  He's Spanish and doen't know a lot of English.  I gave him a Spanish Book Of Mormon.  Both he and his mom love it!

Please tery to set a good example!

I can't put pictures of them all down, and trust me when I say I would if I could.  But that would just take up too much room!  I moght in another one!

The Wise Man vs. The Foolish Man

As you just heard, the wise man built his house on a rock, a good foundation.  It stood strong when it flooded.

The foolish man built his house on the sand, an easy but bad foundation.  When the floods came, his house washed away!

We should build our foundation on a rock like the wise man.  Our foundation is the Lord, Jesus Christ.  If we put our faith in him, then we will be blessed!

If our foundations are strong, but are in bad ground then we will be washed away!  Or sucked into bad powers, such as Satan's grip.

I wish all of us would use our agency wisely, so that we could all live with him again, and be on firm ground with a firm foundation!  :)

The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon first started out as the golden plates.  All the olden day prophets wrote their and the peoplee's account in it.

Joseph Smith restored the gospel and the Book  of Mormon was published into paper.  But not without any hardships!

Joseph was tarred and feathered, jailed, and killed for being a Mormon.  He hadn't done anything to those people, and they wanted revenge!  Satan had lots of power over them!

Nowadays, missionaries carry the Book of Mormon around with them, teaching the gospel to all the people around the world.  But still some people don't listen! 

The missionaries wear white shirts and black jackets and pants.  They have nametags, and they follow a strict sceduele. 

I am very thankful for their service.  Without it I would not be a Mormon.  Both my parent's, parents were converts to the church.

Straight and Narrow

Following the straight and narrow path will lead you to heaven.  All of us want to go to heaven to live with Jesus Christ again.  He loves us amd wants us back. 

Jesus wants sinners to stop sinning.  Like the parable where there is a woman who has comitted adultury, and the crowd around him asks him what to do with the woman.

They ask him when to get the rocks.  He told them that whoever was perfectly sinless to throw the first stone.  Of course no one but Jesus is perfect!

They all walked away from him after that.  He told the woman to go and sin no more.

It is truely amazing how the lord can forgive you so easily!  None of us are sinless, except for newborn babies.

I hopwe one day I can live with Christ again.
